Life Changing Experiences

My Misogis

Since 2021, I have taken on a misogi - a year defining event  -  each year. My misogis have been some of my most memorable experiences of my life (some are listed below). I have also inspired others in my network to take on a Misogi of their own. In 2024, I launched the Misogi Club which is meant to be a community which inspires people to tackle their big goals and experience more in life. The community allows individuals to get inspiration for different types of misogis, track their misogis on a map, and connect with a community of other dream chasers. Check it out! www.themisogiclub.com

Becoming a Mom

In 2025, I took on my toughest yet most rewarding challenge yet - becoming a mom! My son is definitely my most favorite misogi to date, and I have loved falling into this new chapter of life.

Kent Downs 50K Ultramarathon

In 2025, I completed my first ultramarathon, the Kent Downs 50K! I never imagined myself taking on an ultramarathon and it was just as much a challenge of the mind as it was of the body! Being 7 months postpartum, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to complete it, but I am happy to report I finished the race, even with pumping along the way. I got to celebrate at the finish line with my son. Motherhood has surely taught me how far I can push myself, in ways I never imagined!

Purchasing a Professional Pickleball Team

In 2024, my husband Michael and I sold our Cleveland Pickleball business and decided to invest in the growing pickleball community in the United Kingdom. We were the first franchise owners of a pickleball team in the UK's Premier Pickleball League. Our team, The North London Storm, went on to win the 2024/2025 season! We love supporting the team and helping to grow the sport across the country. Check out the team at www.northlondonstorm.com

El Camino del Norte

In 2024, my husband and I took on the first leg of the Camino del Norte in Spain. We hiked along the northern coast of Spain, through Basque country, for 6 days following the Camino route. We slept in the 'albergues' with the other pilgrims along the way, my favorite being an old monastery! We met some really cool people along the way and can't wait to go back to complete the next leg of the walk.

Copenhagen Half Marathon

In 2023, I took on the challenge of running the world's fastest half marathon, the Copenhagen Half Marathon. I was lucky enough to get to run alongside my sister and a few friends. It was an incredible experience that allowed us to soak up the sights through the city and enjoy the hype from all the crowds! It was an experience I will never forget and I was so happy to get to share it with my little sis.

RAGBRAI

In 2022, my husband and I bought a tandem bicycle and began training for RAGBRAI, a 500+ mile bike ride across the whole state of Iowa. This annual event, attracts thousands of cyclists from across the world and is a showcase of the small towns and big cities that make up the state. The week long ride was filled with many HOT days, local pies and beers, live music, local church lady dinners, new friends and sweaty tent sleeps. The joke is that Iowa is as "flat as a waffle" and the rolling hills were no joke! Truly a once in a lifetime ride and can't wait to do it again someday.

29029

In August of 2021, my husband, sister-in-law and I took on the greatest physical challenge of our lives so far - an Everesting challenge called 29029. Over the course of 36-hours we climbed up Snowbasin Mountain 13 times to reach 29,029 vertical feet, the equivalent of Mt. Everest. It was the hardest thing I have ever done but I walked away with so many great life lessons and life long friends. The community at this event is unlike any other.

Cleveland Pickleball

In 2021, my husband and I started a business - Cleveland Pickleball. We fell in love with playing pickleball with our friends and decided to bring the country's fastest growing sport to the Cleveland area. Our company hosts clinics, tournaments and leagues for pickleballers across Northeast Ohio. Check out our site: www.clevelandpickleball.com.

Founding the
Tech For Good Symposium

In 2018, I co-founded the Tech for Good Symposium, a collective of over 30+ corporations across the Tech and Finance industries who are leading work in the Tech for Good ecosystem. Since inception, the symposium has produced collaborative resources and projects to move the needle for nonprofit tech, including the Tech and Data for Good Landscape which is a sampling of programs and offerings across the space. PADI Certification

In 2017, I obtained my PADI scuba certification alongside my younger brother. I can't tell you how amazing it is to see life underwater! My dad and sister are also scuba certified and we have taken a few scuba trips across Florida and Hawaii. My dream scuba destination is Belize!
